If you are aged between 45 – 49 years old and are at risk of a chronic condition you may be eligible for a health check-up.

General Health
Our doctors are trained and fellows of the RACGP (Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners). They are trained to recognise a broad spectrum of illnesses and have extensive knowledge of general medicine. Our practice has a high focus on registrar training via our many experienced GP’s and visiting specialists. Many of our doctors have extended their own areas of interest and expertise throughout their career.
Children’s Health
Dr Philip Davidson is a GP Obstetrician, providing ante-natal and post-natal care in Goolwa, and delivering babies at the South Coast District Hospital. In 2017 he established a “Kids Clinic” at Goolwa Medical Centre.
Chronic Disease Management
Patients having chronic disease are provided care through Medicare in the form of care plans which can be carried out every 3- 12 months.
These plans also assist your care of chronic conditions by referring to allied health professionals.
Our doctors and care plan nurses will assist with your plan and provide you with ongoing support.

Women's Health
Our practice is dedicated to treating a wide spectrum of women’s health concerns. We offer pre-natal, antenatal and postnatal care, contraceptive options, cervical screening and preventative health care advice. We provide assistance, advice and support through all stages of life, recognising the many issues many women may face from adolescence through to the peri and post-menopausal period.
Men's Health
We encourage men to present routinely to their GP to discuss all aspects of their physical and mental health. Our doctors will provide comprehensive advice and support for men to address the prevention and management of various health conditions.
Sports Injuries
Dr Alan Gane has an interest in musculoskeletal and sports medicine & is a keen supporter and provider for local sports clubs in Goolwa. He is keen to establish a streamlined multidisciplinary pathway for the management of injured athletes and has a special interest in concussion. All our doctors can advise on managing, preventing and rehabilitating injuries. They have close relationships with local physiotherapists to advise on most appropriate action for injuries and prevention.
